Battleheart เป็นเกมแนว Tactical RPG ตะลุยด่านจากค่าย Mika Moblie รูปแบบการเล่นเป็นการเก็บเลเวลผ่านด่านไปเรื่อยๆ เราสามารถเลือกตัวละครออกไปต่อสู้ได้สูงสุด 4 ตัว มีอาชีพให้เลือกใช้เยอะแยะมากมาย แต่ละอาชีพก็จะมีข้อดีข้อเสียแตกต่างกัน ทำให้เกิดความหลากหลายในการเลือกทีมที่จะใช้พิชิตเกมนี้

การบังคับเกมนี้โดนใจผมอย่างแรง เพราะไม่มีแป้นปุ่มบังคับทิศทางหรือปุ่มกดโจมตีลงสกิลมาบดหน้าจอที่ปกติก็ เล็กอยู่แล้ว วิธีควบคุมจึงเป็นการใช้นิ้วแตะที่ตัวละครแล้วลากมาที่พื้นเพื่อเคลื่อนที่ หรือลากใส่มอนสเตอร์เพื่อโจมตี แต่ทั้งนี้ตัวเกมไม่ได้ให้เราแค่กดเดินซ้ายขวาขึ้นลงแล้วก้มหน้าก้มตาโจมตี ไปเรื่อยๆ เราต้องบังคับทุกตัวละครในปาร์ตี้ว่าจะเดินไปไหนโจมตีตัวอะไร ซึ่งอาจต้องมีการวางแผนล่วงหน้าให้ดีว่าจะให้ตัวไหนทำอะไร เนื่องจากจำนวนมอนสเตอร์ที่เข้ามาหาเรื่องในแต่ละด่านไม่ใช่น้อยๆ ถ้าเผลอปล่อยให้สมาชิกตายไปคงเป็นการยากที่จะเคลียร์ด่านนั้นๆ ซึ่งเป็นอีกสเน่ห์นึงที่ทำให้คนชอบคิดชอบวางแผนเล่นเกมนี้แล้ววางไม่ลง

ทุกตัวละครสามารถใช้สกิลช่วยเหลือการเล่นได้ โดยการอัพเลเวลทุกๆ 5 ระดับจะสามารถเลือกสกิลเพิ่มได้อย่างหนึ่ง ซึ่งต้องเลือกหนึ่งในสองของสกิลที่คิดว่าดีที่สุด จากที่ลองเล่นดูการใช้สกิลมีความสำคัญอย่างยิ่ง มอนสเตอร์ที่ยากจะล้มก็ปลิวได้ง่ายๆ หรือสถานการณ์สุดเลวร้ายก็ดีขึ้นได้ด้วยการใช้สกิลนั่นเอง ยิ่งเล่นถึงช่วงหลังสกิลเยอะๆ ยิ่งสนุก

นอกจากนี้การเคลียร์ด่านๆ นึงจะได้รับไอเทมและเงินมาซื้อหรืออัพเกรดอุปกรณ์สวมใส่ให้ตัวละครด้วย ซึ่งคนที่ชอบเล่นเกมแนว RPG น่าจะชอบกันดีเนื่องจากพวกอาวุธชุดเกราะเกมนี้ก็มีให้เลือกมากมายหลายแบบ ด่านนึงลงซ้ำกี่ครั้งก็ได้ทำให้สามารถปั๊มเงินเก็บเลเวลให้ปาร์ตี้ของเราได้ แบบไม่มีข้อจำกัด
